Appenton Crypt is a secret underground crypt that runs underneath [[Appenton]]. It is the home of [[Amidia]], whose presence increases the efficacy of all [[Pacts]] created in [[Appenton]]. It is also home to a successor of the Sage who first created the [[Pacts]]. Inside, The Player is required to coordinate with their monster and their companion to press multiple buttons to open the path forwards until they reach the bottom-most level where [[Amidia]] resides.

A Normal Pact is a [[pact]] [[item]] that can be offered to a [[monster]] in [[battle]] in an attempt to [[tame]] them. They are primarily produced in [[Appenton]] and are sold in all general stores across [[Crown Island]]. According to legend, a wise Sage was able to print symbols onto a scroll that could be understood by monsters, allowing man and monster to combine their strengths, but nobody alive has been able to figure out what those symbols mean. Thus, every single Pact is a copy of the original symbols, the true meaning of which is unknown to humans.
