| − | Sometimes when trying to pick up a wild egg, you will be attacked by the egg's angered mother! She cannot be tamed using a pact, and so you must defeat her in order to obtain her egg. Although this stops you from picking the egg up immediately, this battle enables you to see what species the monster egg will be of before you even collect it! To the plucky egg-collecting players out there, this battle can therefore be a big source of excitement!
