Wandering the Desperado Province Gualop graze on cacti and roots. Using as little energy as possible, they wobble from place to place, building up their considerable fat stores.


Gualop appear to have low intelligence and are unusually trusting of humans and other monsters. This, combined with their slow waddle and bountiful fat stores have made them easy targets for Hyna and other predatory monsters. Their thick fat and water content make for a juicy meal, however, they pack a serious heat. While their spiciness does not seem to affect monsters, only the bravest of humans would consider a Gualop dish.


Boasting a considerable magical and physical defense - traits normally confined to Will monsters - Gualop can make for an interesting addition to many teams. However their attack power is quite lacking, requiring the use of strategy to bring out their best.
