In a distant, forgotten pond floats Maloom, rumored to be the twisted product of a child murder, Maloom appears to wait in a lonesome solitude.

Remaining completely unmoving, Maloom does not seem to have any biological needs. When faced with imminent destruction the pool of blood-like substance it secretes manipulates into a sharp needle which pierces the vital organs of the foe so quickly that it can be missed in the blink of an eye.

Tamers that have studied Maloom eventually must leave it as they found it - in solitude. An inescapable sadness is visited upon these Tamers in the following weeks, and a strong mental fortitude is required to return to their day-to-day lives.

Trivia[edit]

  • Because of the lore behind Maloom, it did not initially have any hybrid sprites, since it's technically not a biological monster but instead a possessed toy. It eventually had hybrids added in the 1.0.54 update, which were designed by TerraNariko (with the exception of Unstable, which was designed by devotedtoneurosis).
