Constantly morphing from form to form, it seems most comfortable in a cephalopod-like shape. It constantly seeks metallic material to consume and incorporate into itself. Its amorphous body can take on a variety of textures, from a hard metallic surface to a stretched and near-transparent state. As they usually ignore humans they can be quite amusing to watch, their bodies fluxing like hot wax, eyes dividing, even swapping body parts with other Ambigu. Occasionally an Ambigu will leave the group with more limbs, or less eyes than expected, however, their low IQ and constantly bewildered expression make it difficult to tell if the monster notices, or even cares. Ambigu typically don't consume other monsters, preferring vegetation or minerals. If their hunger reaches a peak with no food source available it's common to see them bite off and swallow one of their own limbs, the tentacle then quickly regrowing from the material absorbed.
