The player's Tamer Rank is an indication of how experienced they are as a Tamer. It also determines the maximum level that they can train up their monsters to. Beating Chief Tamers located across Crown Island enables the player to increase their Tamer Rank, and therefore train their monsters up to higher levels than they could before.
