There is no greater sign of existential dread than the presence of a Vivisek. To make matters even worse, they are rarely found alone.
Vivisek are not born, but created. Any being wandering into the Doctor's lair, human or monster, will suffer a fate worse than death. Soon turned into Vivisek, the patient's mind is overwritten by pain - no remnants of the original personality survives the procedure.
Vivisek will wander the halls of its birthplace forever, moaning tragically, stripped of its senses. Little is known of The Doctor's horrible design or what purpose it serves, but the monster created is entirely immune to status effects and is profoundly unaffected by magical attacks.
