Boarnox have adapted to breathe in the harsh toxic swamps that mean a quick death for other monsters. This often gives them free, exclusive roam of large areas.
Boarnox are very territorial, however, they do allow one other monster species to enter their swampy lands freely - Laz.
Laz lacks the need for oxygen - which allows them to linger in the swamp. Their presence can lure in predators eager for an easy kill. However, as predators approach they are quickly overcome from the noxious air and collapse. Regardless of if the creature has perished, the Boarnox quickly set in to feast.
