Apath will become destructive and harsh to one another in their groups if they grow bored. Evolved to be soldiers to command, they seem to have no real will of their own and grow complacent without a master.
Any Monster wandering into Apath's territory will be set upon by the group. If the Monster seems to have no issue defeating the bunch, the Apath will quickly change gears, bowing before their new master. The Monster can then command its new army to do its bidding and destroy its enemies. Often, this will result in a Monster wielding a terrible level of power and completely dominating their environment.
The caveat, of course, is that if Apath's target shows impressive power, the Apath will rapidly swap allegiances and instantly turn on their previous master. For this reason, those commanding armies of Apath are best served bullying and eradicating all of those already weaker than them. This activity can demonstrate the ugly nature of Apath and master alike. Luckily Apath dwells far beyond the reach of tamers, it is doubted that are any more loyal to a tamer's pact than they are to their monster masters.
