A Monster Tamer, or just Tamer, is an individual who chooses to tame Monsters by using pacts. Being a Monster Tamer is considered a life-threatening occupation and they are an uncommon sight in more developed areas such as Nio Kio City. Out in the wilds, you may encounter fellow Tamers who will challenge you to a battle, rewarding you with money and items upon victory. The strongest Tamers are among some of the toughest and meanest people out there, and some of them are even Chief Tamers.
