Brilliant Monsters, also known as 'Brilliants' are very rare, special monsters with ever-changing coloured coats! If you find a brilliant monster in the wild, then you are very lucky!

The chances of a monster being a brilliant is apparently 1/1000.

Perks

Passing down a random coat colour to offspring

Upon breeding a brilliant monster using a chromosome that enables its coat colour to be passed down, the offspring inherits a randomly coloured coat!

Boosting team growth rates

As of the current version of the game, having a brilliant monster in your party gives a temporary 10% boost in growth rate to all the monsters in your party upon levelling up during battle or when using scouting.

Trivia

• During the beta version of Monster Crown, there was a glitch colloquially known as the 'Curse of the Brilliants!' that caused brilliant monsters to spawn and be generated as eggs frequently. This glitch was later fixed, though it was fun whilst it lasted, since many players were able to hatch or tame brilliants! ;P
