Clamp can be found in caves, especially ones that are damp from rivers and channels running through them. They move very slowly in the shadows, awaiting any being that moves too close to their hiding place. Waiting and watching they eagerly anticipate the perfect moment to strike. Their blade-and-thorn-like mouth will cleave and tear at the foe's limb, completely detaching it in seconds. Clamp will then feast on the limb, as the victim watches on in horror. Clamp cares not if the enemy escapes, they happily feast on the new-found flesh. Any Tamer that has studied Clamp long enough will testify: the beasts seem to revel in their meal to a degree that can sicken onlookers. Truly, there is no greater pleasure for a Clamp than a feast with blood still pumping within.
