Glossum are gliders, however their considerable size and weight means they rarely leave the trees on which it lands in sturdy condition.

The thick webbing on their sides, combined with a feather-tail allow these creatures fantastic air maneuverability. They are often seen climbing trees and hiding in a skittish manner while their large, intensely curious eyes focus on the object of their interest.

Glossum is an omnivore, targeting live prey such as Jungro only when necessary. Rumors circulate that they feed on the blood of unsuspecting victims, however Monster Researchers insist that this is merely fantasy inspired by their haunting eyes and preference for the shadows.

Trivia[edit]

  • Glossum is a design overhaul of Scursa, an extremely similar scrapped monster concept. It was the final Monster of the Week to be featured, its July 2, 2020 forum post replacing Scursa's much earlier one from August 17, 2017.
